James Smith's vision

The focus is on organic growth [James Smith’s vision: Thomson Reuters 2.0] so pretty much NOT the Tom Glocer or Devin Wenig approach. Hardly surprising after the failure of the merged Thomson and Reuters entity to create additional shareholder value for the Thomson family - or anyone else for that matter. However, getting close to the customer has been a theme within both Reuters and TR for some time, along with a unified approach - it just never seemed to happen. Maybe Jim Smith can work the magic. Parking egos is a good start. ■
