A Reuters tradition

You have done us all a great service with your stint at the Baron.

Few companies have managed to cast their spell over their people long after they have left.

It is a pleasure for ageing people like us to remember an extraordinarily interesting life and those who peopled it.

Many others from my generation, I know, feel the same.

It falls to a few individuals to keep it all together, and we were lucky to have you play a leading role.

The tradition belongs to all Reuter generations and no doubt it will live on under your successor. ■
