Christine and 'the old bear'

I was shocked and deeply saddened to read Christine’s obituary on The Baron. It explains why I never heard from her after writing to make sure she knew about the passing of Allan “Sarge” Barker, a mutual friend she sometimes referred to fondly as “the old bear”. She was a wonderful person as well as a great journalist. I am so sorry. ■
