E-mail scam

I am not in Madrid, I was not mugged, my belongings were not stolen and I am not asking for money. I’m at home and not, in fact, asking for anything. I am simply the latest ex-Reuter hack to have my e-mail account hacked. The hacker (probably using what is called a “dictionary attack” to reproduce my Googlemail password) locked me out of my own account and sent out the fake e-mail. Messages to agnick.carter@gmail.com now go only to the hacker, so please delete that address if it is in your e-mail contact list. I have given up on Googlemail and the only address that now reaches me is nick147carter@btinternet.com. Apologies to all who got the scam appeal. ■
