I was more than extremely surprised to note the rubric under which you chose to publish the true and authentic account of how the late Baroness Thatcher came about her widely-used fighting soubriquet [Reuters and the Iron Lady’s rise and fall].

TRIVIA indeed!!!???

The story to which that account referred CHANGED THE COURSE OF HISTORY! I am reliably informed that one of her aides commented on the night of her victory in the General Election of 1979: “It was Reuters wot won it.”

Not that, I think I can safely say, the original author is especially proud of that achievement. ■
