Memorial to Michael Littlejohns at St Bride's

A memorial plaque has been placed for Mike Littlejohns at St Bride's Church in London. The plaque is on a pew next to the journalists' shrine (photo).

This Christopher Wren church is a lovely and historic sanctuary in the heart of Fleet Street.

I hope you can pop in, "take a pew", and remember Mike when you are next in London. He is in good company, surrounded by many other eminent journalists - including my father, Roland Dallas, in the next pew along!

My mother and I plan to scatter Mike's ashes at Launceston Castle, his birthplace in Cornwall, this summer. ■
