Well said, Dick. Mike was one of those people with enough character to remind you that you were in a newsroom, not an insurance company. I remember how he periodically exclaimed, for all to hear: "I hate my job!" Still, one doubted that. It was a privilege to work in the same newsroom as he did. ■
