Nimble quibble

Editor-in-chief Alessandra Galloni has told staff that Reuters is changing its newsroom operations team “to make it nimbler”.

Four years ago, her predecessor Stephen Adler announced the “newsroom of the future” and reorganised the editorial operation “to be more global, nimble and customer aware”.

The transformation may have been disrupted by COVID-19 but I guess it takes time and tender loving care from Reuters’ first matron to make a 170-year-old patient nimbler. ■
