Nothing equals 'The Vision'

I disagree with Cap’n Bob who I otherwise love and admire.

As far as ridiculous nonsense is concerned, NOTHING will ever equal “The Vision,” a lunatic “philosophy” briefly presented in the 1990s, I believe, as aimed at inspiring Reuters personnel to bigger and better things. It was once illustrated by a photo in the Comic Cuts where nearly a dozen Reuter employees were seen lying flat on their backs in a circle on a carpet.

I think the caption said something about them meditating. The extraordinary thing was that one was frowned upon when one suggested at the time that the powers-that-be had gone completely coo-coo and that their next step might be handing out LSD-laced Kool-Aid… or worse. ■
