Market insight chief leaves Thomson Reuters
Friday 14 March 2014
Robin Poynder (photo), head of market insight for Thomson Reuters' marketplaces business, has left the company after nearly 10 years.
Based in London, he reported to Phil Weisberg, who joined Thomson Reuters last year as its global head of foreign exchange in New York.
Poynder held a number of senior roles at Thomson Reuters, including global head of regulation for marketplaces, head of FX and money markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, positions in the treasury team, and global head of FX customer solutions.
Prior to joining in 2004, he had worked in banking since 1981.
A spokesperson for Thomson Reuters confirmed the departure. Poynder’s future plans are not yet known, foreign exchange publication FX Week reported. ■
