Thomson Reuters picks IBM for internal IT outsourcing

Thomson Reuters has selected IBM to provide its internal information technology services such as e-mail and telecommunications.

The change, which was announced in August, will take effect on 1 February 2015.

The company has not disclosed how many employees will be affected by the outsourcing. A spokesman said they would all be offered positions with IBM or one of its partner businesses. ■
