Into the heart of Paul Julius Reuter went the knife - now a tradition at the Baron’s Bash in London. It was wielded, as usual, by Mary Norsworthy who stood over an iced cake decorated with a picture of the Baron. She has organised the event for former members of Reuters editorial staff every year since she started it in 2009.

Colleagues from far and wide - including some from overseas - came together for the annual reunion at the Dulwich and Sydenham Hill Golf Club in south London on Monday.
