John Baggaley marries partner in Nicosia

Former correspondent and sub-editor John Baggaley, who retired to Cyprus, has married his partner Myrna Delim Haduca in Nicosia. Former Middle East and Africa Desk supremo Graham Colville and Cyprus correspondent Michele Kambas were witnesses at the 29 September ceremony.

Baggaley was on Middle East desks in Bahrain and Cyprus and chief correspondent in Algeria and Morocco. Before joining Reuters he worked as a journalist in New Zealand, France and Kenya and on The Guardian in London. ■
