LA bureau chief leaves Reuters

Los Angeles bureau chief Ronald Grover (photo) is leaving Reuters.

He declined to say anything about his departure when US media website Talking Biz News contacted him.

A long-time entertainment business journalist, Grover joined Reuters in 2012. Previously he covered the media and entertainment industry for Bloomberg Businessweek in Los Angeles. He had joined BusinessWeek’s Washington bureau in 1979, covering energy policy. From 1982 to 1986 he was the magazine’s congressional correspondent. He moved to Los Angeles in 1986 as a correspondent covering entertainment, politics and other business news. ■
