Chris Peterson: A jolly chap

Sad to learn of Chris Peterson's death. A jolly chap with a great sense of humour, he helped me settle into Reuters as a graduate journalist trainee in London in 1971 by finding me temporary digs with pukka friends of his in Gloucester Road. It was only a sofa in a basement flat but I was grateful. ■
