Christiane Cowell: Life and soul of the Bonn office

Negligent and lazy as ever, I’ve only just tuned into The Baron. Learning of the death of Christiane Cowell was heart-breaking. She was the life and soul of the Bonn office when I arrived there in 1974.

Wonderful lady.
