Dapper dresser

I reported to David Mulhall who was head of banking sales when I joined in 1978. I then followed him to Hong Kong for three years. He was the nicest and most genuine guy you could hope to meet.

As has already been said he was also the most dapper dresser in Reuters. Not for him the cheap HK tailors. No, he got his suits from the most expensive Italian tailors in HK.

One day, before he married Jenny, he came home to find his new maid, in an effort to impress, had washed all his suits and had them hanging on the line to dry.

God bless you, David. ■
