George on the move

The George Short Luncheon Club is having a trial change of venue for next month’s meeting - from 2:00 pm. onwards on 12 May. At the request of a number of members we’re going to the Old Bank of England (194 Fleet Street) instead of the usual Crown and Sugarloaf at the other end of Fleet Street. We may shift there permanently if that’s what most members want. ■
