Hacking indictment

It boggles the mind how Reuters’ top managers continue to add to their dubious record of prize possessions. The explanation or excuse is this guy [Reuters editor indicted for helping hackers] committed the deed before being hired by Thomson Reuters. It might seem reasonable were it not for the long list of missteps and embarrassments caused by other of managers’ choices. Perhaps it is time for them to look in the mirror and see what everyone else does: A once great news organisation is floundering without guidance from above. ■
