Hostile takeover

Today I received a phone call at my London address and the caller checked my name and whether I owned Thomson Reuters shares. He said he was speaking on behalf of someone planning a hostile takeover, and was clearly interested in buying my shares. I asked who he was representing but he declined to say. When I said I was certainly not selling shares to e.g. Saudi Arabia he put the phone down. ■
