Reg Watts' unwavering objectivity and fairness

I doubt anyone would question that Reg was the most knowledgeable and best commodities person around, but what made him really outstanding was his unwavering objectivity and fairness not only as a journalist but in all walks of life. I first met him when I moved to Washington in late 1973 and edited many of his major newsbreaks for the general news file. My wife, Barbara, echoes my views of Reg, noting she learned a lot while working for him as part of his Washington commodities team. ■
