Reuters and its Pulitzers - A reason to celebrate

Reuters has much to celebrate with its two recent Pulitzers (for international reporting and for feature photography), but one aspect stands out: the great diversity of those whose work earned the awards. The writers and photographers who picked up the prizes at a ceremony at New York's Columbia University on 30 May hail from a host of countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas. What better testament to one of the characteristics of Reuters that made working for the Baron so special. ■
