Ron 'Nobby' Clarke never took the job or himself too seriously

Ron was an excellent journalist and a fine man who never took himself or the job too seriously. In my time in the United States we were always given a lift when Nobby was on the line, filing another sparkling read, or when he came into any Editorial gathering. One of the best! ■
