Sourcing in snaps

I was proud to work for Reuters for many years. Now as a user of Reuters at German TV station Deutsche Welle, I am dismayed at the current lack of sourcing in snaps. 

Definitive statements in block capitals appear on my screen with no reference to where the info has come from, something crucially important especially in snaps. 

I don't know if this is a deliberate change of tactic (and another erosion of the Trust Principles) or new reporters/editors not being properly versed in the Reuters way. ■
