I chanced upon your web pages some time last year (2008) and revisited them after a 2-month gap, just today. It is a 'good site' - thank you. Most absorbing.

My association with Reuters is relatively ancient (1969-1979), as an RES journalist but was certainly seminal.

Retirement or otherwise departures from the forge seem to have been a great leveller and brought a measure of mellowed serenity to former bosses, team leaders & former underlings alike. Ex-colleagues all. ■
