Trust

It’s sad, really, to witness what Reuters has become. The once proud Baron was a beacon of journalistic excellence. It was an organisation that was respected the world over for its expertise in delivering accurately and quickly the news of the day faster and better than anyone else. More importantly, Reuters was a company of trust - trust in its reporting, trust in its judgment and trust that working for Reuters made you special. Unfortunately, evidence is clear that the Reuters we all knew and loved is no more, its future in the perilous hands of those too unfamiliar with one simple word: TRUST. ■
