Christina Pantin returning to US in PR role

Christina Pantin (photo) is going back to the United States where her 25-year career with Reuters began. She is moving to Samsung Telecommunications North America to take up the role of vice president public relations, based in New Jersey.

Her career with the Baron began in New York, in “the pit” with Gerry McCormick, Jim Brumm “and a host of other unforgettable personalities”.

Postings included Kuala Lumpur, her birthplace, Singapore, Hanoi and two stints in Bangalore.

Pantin left Reuters in 2012 from Bangalore where she had been South Asia general manager. She moved into communications with Brunswick Group in Hong Kong in June 2012, and departs for the US early next month. ■
