Scott Thornton marries in Scotland

Scott Thornton, Reuters correspondent, editor and manager from 1971 to 1992, with his bride Julia Allison in Perthshire, Scotland.

Both work for his public relations agency Hotel PR which has offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Before moving to Scotland Julia was with the NHS at Lewisham University Hospital, London.

Thornton’s ex-Reuters colleagues Charles Batchelor and Tom Thomson were among guests at the ceremony at Kinclaven Church on 23 September. ■
