Doing, undoing, redoing

"Direct account management and client specialists will move from a centralised structure to a sub-regional one. Staff were told that the rationale is that 'locating teams in the right places and empowering decision-making as near as possible to our customers is vital to customer satisfaction, retention and growth'" [Thomson Reuters downsizes EMEA region HQ].

This is the exact opposite of what has been going on in the Americas, and I would guess elsewhere as well, where staff have been centralized to 'Hub' locations. If this company would study their last five or ten re-organizations they would realize they keep doing, undoing, redoing, etc. in the hope that something will work. ■
