Ron 'Nobby' Clarke, a dedicated reporter

He was a dedicated reporter. Once, while attending an executive meeting in New York, he came to our newsroom to participate in and command coverage of a major fire in Los Angeles. He also had an excellent sense of what the reading public wanted, which allowed him to "nail" his Hollywood stories. ■
