Kenneth Li joins successor to top technology site

Kenneth Li, pictured, who left Reuters as an editor at large last week, is to be managing editor at a new technology website to be launched by two top writers from Dow Jones whose closely-watched technology columns appeared in The Wall Street Journal.

Kara Swisher and Walter Mossberg are moving on from Dow Jones, where they built the website All Things D into an industry-leading source for technology news, reviews and conference business. Their new site is due to launch next year.

Business Insider reported on Wednesday: “Li is one the most beloved people in the world of tech/media reporting.”

Li was previously Reuters’ global media correspondent and later editor-in-charge of US technology, media and telecommunications coverage before becoming editor of Reuters.com until earlier this year. ■
