PRG working to improve access to pension information for bereaved relatives
Tuesday 21 April 2026

The Pension Review Group (PRG) has launched a drive to ensure that bereaved relatives of members of the Reuters Pension Fund are better informed about how to access pension benefit information.
In its latest bulletin, the PRG says partners or children of deceased RPF members have in the past asked for help through personal contacts in finding information on the pension scheme, not knowing how to access it through the administrator ISIO.
“The PRG believes steps can be taken which will help members and beneficiaries of members be better informed about RPF information relevant to them. In the coming months we will be carrying out a review which will focus on how the user experience for beneficiaries of members can be improved,” the bulletin says.
To start the process it suggests beneficiaries are informed about the ISIO website and how to access it, including an extensive FAQ section.
It also recommends that all RPF members make an “Expression of Wish”, details of which can be found on the ISIO site. It strongly suggests making a Will and showing beneficiaries how to subscribe to the PRG site.
Full details of this initiative and of the PRG’s other activities can be found on its website. ■
