Michael Nelson- Credited for developing young talent

Much attention has quite correctly been given to Mike's considerable business acumen and skill in piloting Reuters into uncharted and hugely profitable waters.

Credit should also be given to his identifying and developing much of the young talent in the agency, many of whom went on to to occupy senior positions. He was a demanding manager but one who inspired loyalty and affection. ■
