Roxana Dascalu's funeral

Around 30 people attended Roxana Dascalu’s cremation on March 3 in the French town of Pamiers and about 20 the funeral ceremony later in Rivel where she lived. 

Friends from all over the world sent flowers while many locals, Romanians living in France and the two children and granddaughter of her late second husband Radu, attended the ceremonies.

Her urn (photo) was placed next to Radu’s in the small cemetery in Rivel, where they had lived in an abandoned watermill for more than a decade. ■
