The Baron's Bash 2019

More than 80 former Reuters editorial colleagues and their guests met for the annual Baron’s Bash in London on Monday.

Organisers Jeremy Toye and Lesley Saltmarsh were able to persuade Rick Norsworthy to attend, though ill health prevented his wife Mary, who founded the event in 2008, from being there.

Those from overseas who were at the Dulwich & Sydenham Hill Golf Club for the luncheon were Arik Bachar (Israel), Graham Colville (Cyprus), Bob Evans (France), Jim Foley (Canada), Roy Gutman (United States), Evelyn Leopold (United States), and Jonathan Sharp (Hong Kong).

The toast, as always, was to absent friends. ■
