Thursday 15 November 2012
Thomson Reuters has been awarded the top rating of 100 per cent by a US human rights organisation as one of the best places to work in America for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality.
The Washington-based Human Rights Campaign rated Thomson Reuters on its Corporate Equality Index for fair and inclusive workplace policies across large US employers. Some 251 other companies out of 889 evaluated also earned the distinction.
“We’re proud to be recognized by the HRC for our ongoing efforts,” said James Smith, CEO. “In the global knowledge economy, diversity and inclusion are essential.” ■
